Default Throttle Cable for EFI conversion

What cable are you running. I want to stick with the GM 6cyl cable if I can. I have a few from my first 68 camaro. I thought I read some people were using a NOVA cable because its longer? Is that true and if so where can I get one and what is the part number or years I should be looking for.

Thanks

Doug

Doug,

Im running a lokar cable and pedal assy, they do have a universal cable/bracket. Mine is set up on a 4150 style throttle body and worked out real nice. If you are running this style of throttle body you may get away with using the 6 cyl cable assy., if your doing a stealth ram set up or similar where the throttle is way up front it may not be long enough. Heres a pic:

I'm using a Lokar LS1 cable with a repro 6cyl pedal. I later put some 1/4in split tubing over the cable to make it less blingy (and protect my knucles when I was unbolting the rag-joint to replace the steering column).

Do you have pictures of the cable at the firewall and the pedal? What did you need todo to the pedal?

And which Lokar cable kit did you use?

Thanks

Rodder, yours. I would like to see how you did it with the stock pedal

I just ran it through the stock hole in the firewall and pedal... no modifications. I did have to bend the arm on the pedal a little because the repro pedal didn't line straight up with the hole in the firewall.
