Some of the 70-81 owners have felt left out so we'll honor the same prices for the 70-81systems. The polished stainless systems are an incredible bargain and are all in stock.

Chris, I've gone to web site and found the SGF-60 system diagram showing two individual mufflers.
May we assume that the "new" redesigned system does NOT include a crossflow muffler option As I still need to purchase a 2 1/2" system for my 69 Big Block I'm very interested to SEE "a totally new tailpipe design for a great fit". How may we SEE this.... Thanks so much............

I would think so, I just don't think you can get a cookie cutter exhaust sytems and have them bolt right up even if they are made for your specific car. I think most of these systems work good and most people are happy with them but I think it's part that can be hit and miss for perfect fit on every car of the same type. THere are just to many things that can make it not fit right. A 1/8 inch at one end of a pipe can be an 1 1/2 at the other end. Joe

I WANT and NEED a mandrel bent X pipe, crossflow system for my 69 Camaro Big Block.
I like the idea that the PYPES muffler replicates the ORIGINAL layout. I am not critisizing Chris C or ANYBODY..............In this day and age of digital cameras, etc is it too much to ask to SEE good pictures of this newly redesigned system, TAILPIPES and how everything is installed and supported........ Some of us on this site actually do care about appearance, details, AND performance!!!!! I am also interested in BUTTWELDING the polished tailpipe extensions to the main tailpipe section????????? and eliminating the slip fit??????? Again, I mean NO dissrespect to ANYBODY best regards,

Unfortunately for you, we still don't have good enough pics yet to satisfy your curiosity on the SGF70 crossflow system. There is a SGF60 System in the picture gallery.

There is no reason why you can't cut the EVT59 tip at the expanded end and butt weld it to the tailpipe especially on the polished 304 system. You could then polish the weld and make it look like one long piece.

[QUOTE=Ccass;850546]I'm with you. Just haven't had a 1st gen 69 owner in for an install.
Chris, i was one of the guys that inquired about installing the system on my car on your website but at the time i could not wait 2 months for the install. Are you still offering the free install and 50% off the kit for 69 camaro? |
