Take a moment and remember back to Sept 11, 2001

No debates, no conspiracy - just reflect back on the lives lost on this tragic day 6 years ago...

I can't believe it's been 6 years! My thoughts and prayers go out to all the families who lost loved ones on that terrible day.

I was working nights and my wife woke me up and turned on the TV and said "isn't that sick?" I don't wake up too fast, but I did and just thought, that's going to be a huge disaster and that's before the towers fell.

I agree with Dennis. Today is a time to remember those lost at The World Trade Center, Pentagon and on the 4 Jets.
I remember the day like it was yesterday and I will never forget!

You can feel it here. Not too many people talking about it, but it's in the air. Sad Sad day.

Hi Brian,
Where in New York City are you? I grew up in Ozone Park, Queens and my Firehouse is in East New York, Brooklyn.
This is an especially hard time for all Americans, but it is even harder for New Yorkers who actually witnessed this savage act in person.

Hi Brian,
Yes I was there. My Firehouse lost 4 Firemen. By the time Building 7 collapsed, we were all in such shock, we were almost expecting it to happen. All Firemen, Police Officers and Emergency Workers were speechless and expressionless when it happened. We just could not believe our eyes, even though it was happening right in front of us.

Wow... So sorry... My fiance (now wife) was missing for a while, but we did reunite and she's ok. It was crazy. Your right about bldg 7, when the first 2 came down, it was shocking, totally unbelievable, unreal! They said 7 would probably come down around 5:00, and I think it did, plus or minus a few minutes, we just watched in disbelief, like, there it goes...

I worked for Delta at the time, and I spent almost all day in Flight Control from the time it started unfolding. A day I could not forget if I wanted to.

I took my middle child to get his driver's license today, and it was a bittersweet moment as I was signing and filling in the date on all the forms.

I just got back from deployment hours prior, I was awakened by wife. She said a plane struck the towers. A few hours later I was to be gone again......patrolling the skies in a P-3C Orion.

God Bless.
