I HEARD SOMEWHERE THAT THE NEWER (3RD GEN) CAMARO POWER STEERING BOX WILL FIT ON A FIRST GENERATION CAMARO. ANYBODY GOT THE SCOOP?

Yup.the boxes to look for if ya want to carv some bends is the ones otta a T/A WS6.You can just as well use one from the later 2gens.The ones to REALLY look for if it´s to your liking is the ones with 2,4 turns lock to lock.I was fortunate and found one from an early z28.Lacks the "feel" of the later boxes in my opinion tho.
BTW.If ya swap the lid of the current box to the one you´re putting in,none will notice the diff.

i bolted up box from a 87 iroc to my 67, all i had to change was the rag joint. my only problem is the pitman arm, i haven't bought it yet to know if it needs to be modified to fit on the splines.
