I have a dual snorkel breather w/5" snorkels. The breather is 17" across, is for a Holley, has the flame arrestor inside and has a code of "CHQ" stamped on it on the bottom. It has a chrome lid. I assume it is for a big block corvette, 68-72 but not sure. Anyone know what year or even if it's for a corvette? Approximate value? It's original I'd say an 8 out of 10. Very light rust on lid.

Are you sure it's a 'Holley' only base ???
Only dual-snorkle I can think of with Holley and fire screen in base is the 1967 RPO-L79 in ChevyII ... Do the snorkles come straight out the sides or are they angled towards front?

Reason I say it's for a Holley is it has indentions in the back and front to clear the needle and seat on the bowls. Snorkels come out the side at the 10 and 2 o'clock positions. I've seen a quadrajet one and it doesn't have the indentions and won't fit a Holley.
