I always just used a razorblade. After that maybe follow up with paint thinner on a shop paper towel.

Try a shop towel dampened but not soaked in lacquer thinner. Be careful not to drip any on finished paint. Clay bar lubricated with dawn soap might do the job alone. It would be a good second step after thinner loosens it up. Zaino glass polish will take care of the last little bit of haze.
Aviation stripper will leave a residue to clean off. A drip will blister your new paint before you could wipe it off. |

Spray lots of Windex and use a NEW razor blade. You can never use enough Windex.

Use fine steel wool on the windshield- lightly and it will come right off- no solvent needed,

Fine steel wool as in '0000' you can find it at Home depot.

"0000" steel wool is good for many ills. Not only removes crud on glass but when used with chrome polish, it cleans up chrome and stainless.

You don't need fine steel wool. SOS pads work just fine. Been using them on cars for over twenty years. They won't scratch the glass. Every car that leaves my shop get them.

As above, a damp rag with laquar thinners ...this tends to sofen the paint , then scrape with new Gem razor blade.
Finsh with a damp rag and little isopropyl alcohol.
