I came across a deal on a 144 supercharger with the teflon rotors. I have a 355 with Scat steel crank, main studs, Eagle H beam rods with ARP rod bolts. Heads are Dart Iron Eagle 215's with 64cc combusion chamber, 2.05 valves and angle plugs.
Will this little blower work for my engine? I plan on 8.5:1 pistons if I supercharge it. It currently has Manley 11:1 forged. Would I really gain much or is this 350 stout enough. Would like low 11's out of the car. Any info is appreciated. |

That little 144 will make plenty power on your 350. Put a blower cam/N20 cam and let it rip. You will never get the N/A motor to run as good and still be tame enough to drive on the street.

agreed.
and those are some good sized heads at 215cc for a 350....you'll be a few steps ahead by going with the blower setup. If you can swing the cam swap, certainly do that too but it isn't a requirement of course. another option instead of a cam swap would be using higher ratio rockers (1.6) on the exhaust valves and only 1.5's on the intakes.
