Default Help with building new garage..any ideas??

I have recently built a 24 x 40 4 car garage...right now I am getting ready to drywall...Any ideas on how to run the air lines?? I planned on putting overhead air...and elec. reels in the center...I have a small glass bead cabinet...a welder...a plasma cutter...just got a lift and rotisserie...and too many cars still... but thats a good thing..hahah...anyway...I already realize the garage should be a few feet wider once 4 cars are inside...but, I'd like ideas on what NOT to forget to install now...ahead of time...I'm putting the compressor outside under an enclosed lean to and piping the air inside(less noise)..can I use copper pipe?? Any suggestions would be appreciated!!!

Thanks alot Team Camaro!!

Even though i have drywall in my garage i'm not crazy about it. You need to keep it climate controled in hot weather such as ac/or dehumidifier. It's just not great in damp locations or forgiving to dents and dings. Maybe they make a plaster board simular to drywall. I've also have seen guys use pole barn metal siding inside, just noisy if you use air chissel alot.

PVC is not suited for air lines.

Dont forget a large laundy sink to wash your hands while working. I put one in mine when I built it and miss it every time I work in some one elses shop.

What part of the country are you in? (Or which county for that matter?)
COXREELS retractable air lines, AND drop light. Check out the EZcoil lineup.
As mentioned before, you can't have enough wiring and outlets. (Although personally I'd scratch the phone line)
At least run some empty conduit that you can access later for speakers etc.

PVC Can Handle the PSI For an Airline but... Its Plastic and brittle... its illegal to run in any business type shop.

Imagine running 100+ Psi and something hitting the PVC and Cracking it then it exploding at the crack and small plastic pieces flying..

Ya I thought using it was an awesome Idea til I looked it up on the net = (

Black pipe Or for a little more the Galvanized so it doesnt rust.
