Default Need a spare tire for my 67'

I need a spare tire for my 67' camaro.

I have 15x8 corvette rally rims all around.

235/65/15's up front
255/60/15's in the back.

I have 3.73 gears and posi traction, its the stock rearend.

Is there any late model GM cars that I can pull a spare from at a junk yard?

Would it be detrimental to my posi if I can a little bit smaller tire for a short period of time in the event of a flat??

I got a flat today and I dont have a spare, I'm trying to avoid this situation again haha. Planning ahead this time .

Thanks guys.

I got a skinny spare out of a mid to late 80s B-body (Caprice Estate Classic, but the BOP models should be the same) wagon. The B-bodies have the 5 on 5 pattern, but the spare must be used in other models because it is also drilled for 5 on 4.75. I'll have to measure the diameter, but it was really close to 26.5 or 27, closest I found in a skinny.

The S-10 trucks are 5 on 4.75, and I seem to recall the compact spares out of them being another choice.

That S10 compact spare is 27" in diameter. I picked one up and it's pretty big -- decided not to use it (I actually need to get rid of it at some point). C4 corvette compact spare is ~25.7" in diameter, but has a little bit of a weird offset (tire ends up pretty far inboard). I've got the C4 vette spare in my trunk now since I figure I'm OK with the weird offset as long as it's temporary.

I had an original Rally for a spare, but pulled it out after just a week. I anguished over finding just the right jack (functional) that would be light enough etc...

I ended up deciding I don't want the extra weight in the back. With my insurance covering free towing, and having a cell phone, I decided a can of Fix-A-Flat was all I needed. I figure the odds are greatly in my favor that if I do have a flat, it won't be a slashed/gashed sidewall...and the small can of magic will be all I need short term.

I have a 15 inch spare on a rallye wheel. It is approx. the same size as on the car. I am going to a 16 inch alum. wheel but I will still keep the spare. I also have AAA but you never know. I have the original style jack and the spare tire cover. At shows I usually have the lid up.
