Default Garage remodeling! (lotsa pics!)

For the past 2 or was it 3 weeks, I've been working my tail off.
My babies now have a VERY nice place to sleep!

This all started when I felt a need to secure "my space." Our attached garage is 22 by 50, and has always been one wide open space.

Well, I built a wall across the middle, and now, it's "Mine" and "theirs"!

Then I painted the whole thing with a fresh coat of white paint.

After a serious cleaning, I repainted my old tan metal cabinets in rustoleum "hammered" paint, black and silver. I layed down thick clear plastic carpet runner to line the shelves, and attached hardware bins to the insides of the doors.

This:

turned into this:

and this:

I moved my workbench from the side to the new front wall, and cleaned it up a bit.
before:

turned into this:

And finally, I laid down 550 square feet of "motoFloor" from Costco. That floor is fantastic!
My poor Vette was evicted to the driveway through most of this, and with the recent snows, had become quite the "Vettesicle." The Camaro even had to spend most of today outside while I finished the floor, but thankfully mother nature was cooperative and the forecast freezing rain didn't happen.

Here's my baby's back in thier new home:

It's been a couple hours now, and the vette has thawed.

Looking good Jim.
And I see which baby you love more to. You know you really shouldn't play favorites though they may get jealous, and nest thing you know there's oil on the floor.

The floor is great, I like it a lot. They say no problem with jack's and engine stands and such, the toolbox rolls on it with no problem. It is a lil noisy, plastic sitting on concrete ya know, it "clanks" a lil when you walk on it.

I "struggled" with that one a lot. Concrete is 6 years old, and I've never been able to make the vert stop leaking, so there's some pretty bad stains. I just couldn't bring myself to trust any kind of paint to stay put, and nothing looks worse than chipping and peeling 5 year old paint.

Cost to my door for 12 48 square foot boxes plus a completer kit (the "ramp" peices for at the garage door) was $1530, just a touch under $3 per sq ft. It was dropped shipped from Race Deck, and my research showed the products are the same stuff. There are "lines" molded into it, kinda like diamond plate, they keep i from getting slippery when wet.

Other than some paint, It's the only money I spent on this project.

Jim...
Nice job... Same theme as mine..white, black and gray/silver The cabs came out great and the floor is top-notch! Its well worth the effort and cost knowing you have your space and nobody else can get there without your permission. I am not doing the floor this year..but it will happen in the early spring ...expoxy not tiles tho....but if you want to package the ones you have down and send them here, I would be forever grateful

Hey, don't point that sore finger at me

The garage looks great. I am planning to do something with mine real soon.

The excessive wax buildup on that corvette might have to be your next project.

It used to be before I put up the wall.

No circle drive though, corner lot, driveway on both streets.

Jim,
Nice job. Looks great.

A question on the floor.
Do you think it has the potential for fluids to seep between the crevices?
