Default 67 Front Suspension

Hello , I just found this site today , looks like this will be very interesting.. I have a 67 Camaro Coupe that I want to make handle and drive like a new car.. I am pretty sure that one of these aftermarket complete k-members with all the suspension / brakes / and rack & pinion is the way to go.. My biggest concern in using aftermarket suspension pieces is that they may not be serviced in the future. I was hoping to find something that uses late GM , maybe C4 or C5 Vette components.. I want to also use the 12 bolt thats in the car and then upgrade the suspension. I want this car to look stock with possibly a small drop in the front .. I will be using a 515Hp smallblock with a Richmond 5-speed .. While not a race car , I want something with excellent handling , exceptional braking and reasonable performance. This is my first early Camaro so I am hoping to talk with some of you and get some pointers and save myself the grief of making mistakes ..

Thanks for you time to read this ....

Go to the search menu and punch in Hotchkis TVS or suspension upgrades etc and it will bring up a ton of stuff for your reading enjoyment. Also I would recommend going to David Poszzi's website and read up on 1st gen suspensions...wealth of info there and he's a member here too. Alot of what you want to do is gonna be a function of money, you can spend a fortune on a 4 link for the rear and new front subframe with all the latest C5 kind of stuff if you got the budget for that but there are some really good upgrades that are affordable and will probably do what you're looking for.I've got the Hotchkis TVS and a manual disk brake upgrade and my car handles like a go-kart,and those were great upgrades and well worth it.
