Can I put the glass and vent window from a 67 into a 68 door shell? I found a pair of 68 doors to replace my less than mint 67 doors. I don't have the car with me at this time so I can't compair them.
Thanks for you help. Shawn 67 RS Conv. |

Not sure but something else to consider is that a 67 door panel doesn't go over the top of the door such as a 68 and 69 do. So if you can get the window to fit the door panels won't work unless you use a 68 or 69 type then it won't match the rears. Just something to think about.

Its amazing how much you forget when you don't have the car nearbye. I'm in PA and the car is stored in OH 500 miles away. I guess the only thing they share in common is the door skin and door handles.
Thanks for answering my brainfade question. Shawn |

No, there is a extra braceing inside the 67 door for the wing window.

Another problem attaching '68 doors to '67..
The '67 uses 3 bolt hinges..the '68 uses 4 bolt hinges... You;d need to do some welding/body work, etc.... I though about this too...chaning to '68 doors, to get rid of the freakin' vent windows... but after much investigation found it;s not worth the hassle... David |
