I have some major sheet metal to replace to fix the floor pan /trunk rockers etc. I've been busy sandblasting the underneath and now I'm starting to take a look at what I need to replace.
I need to replace front and rear floor pans, mostly just were your feet rest, I figured just the smaller repair pieces. I need to replace the passenger rocker. I need to replace the trunk pan and side around the inside of the wheel wells. I need to replace the tailpan. What should I start first? Any preferred order? Do the Front floor pans then work out to the rockers, then work toward the back/trunk section? Any advice appreciated Thanks Ray |

I would have went that route that Bob offers now if I had to do mine all over again. it would have saved tons of time. Check this thread out Ray.

Hi stovedup
I appreciate the reply. Most of the remaining metal is pretty good. I also don't know if I could tackle that big of a swap. I already have the floor pieces and trunk pan. I am just trying to get a good idea of where to start from and work out. Thanks Ray |

I didn't replace my floors as someone had already done a hack job on them with some patches. My rockers were in pretty good shape. I only had to patch the outer on the driver side. My guess is if you are just patching the floor you could do that first then the rockers. Then tackle the back of it. There is a few recent threads going about these areas in the forum. Maybe someone else with first hand experience will pass down some wisdom. Post us some post sandblasting pics Ray.
