![]() This is a picture of my inner fenders of a car I just bought. They have been painted a high gloss black ( turned out great). They have not been painted on the underside. These were brand new inners so the underside has the factory thin flat black paint. What is everybody's recommendation about painting these? Do I need to undercoat them before or after installation? |

I put 3M rocker schutz (thinned down to get correct texture) on the wheel side and then epoxy prime both sides then paint, before installation

try fitting both before making your decision, if these are aftermarket you will need to fabricate something on them, they just dont slip in and bolt down, once this is done sand them and paint them semigloss black good luck

I would also prefit them before you do anymore to them. You usually have to waller out some of the holes. Lay your fenders on some stands and mount the inner fenders to them. It is easier than trying to fit them on the car. Also lay some blue tape around the edges of the fenders so you dont scratch the paint.
