have you guys ever seen a dummy vacuum advance before?

i need one of these....

whats the part number?

year?

used on what engines?

You need a vac advance unit in, the end of the lever on it holds the advance mechanism in a fixed place
A std vac advance unit without the vac hose atatched does the job
So a 'dumby unit is just a std unit, the vac hose peice chopped off, spot weld the hole and grind off smooth
If you go this route, put the unit in a bucket of water with just the top showing to keep the unit body and internals cool.
