Was the R/S grab bar available with the stock interior and option code RPO Z23 or was it only available with the custom interior, RPO Z87? Some Camaro research books show it and others don't.

Yes, it was available with standard interior with option Z23. Thats what my car has. It was also included in the custom interior package.

But the grab handle has no relationship to the RS option.

When I wrote "was the R/S grab bar..." I used R/S to indicate "Right Side". Sorry for any confusion.
