Lightbulb Need Steering Column break down diagram

I need a steering column break down diagram that I can print out for a 67-68 floor shift.

Please post a link here if one is available or PM me and I will send you my e-mail address.

I have 2 columns that are apart, one is not in very good shape so I hope to build a good one from the two.

Joe

Any idea what this can be found in? A scanned copy would be great if possible.

This paper isn't exactly what you need but it is the best I can do. I think that even though your steering column is a floorshift, there is most likely (what is called) a shift tube inside the steering column that sorrounds the actual steering shaft. There won't be a lever on the end of the shift tube. The reason that I believe that there is a shift tube is because the original energy absorbing steering columns (1967-68) were very week in bending because of the cutouts in the column jacket. The shift tube (and the big mounting bracket under the dash) were required to keep the steering wheel from bouncing around in your hands.

Good luck,

Ya, I think we discussed that awhile back. I think I was tellin someone about my friend in Arkansas up near Batesville, whos always tellin me the best place to meet women is at family reunions and then you jumped up and said "Im from Arkansas!", to which I probably replied "Oh yeah, your Camaro is the one with the mud flaps, right?" Anyways, heres the one I have http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1968-...QQcmdZViewItem Theres plenty of places that sell em though. Hope this helps
