Default jegs powdercoated brake lines

Has anybody used the jeg's coated brake lines? I just thought it would be nice to have the workablity of the steel but the coating for protection. Let me know if you have used it or have any input.

I'd never heard of it before I saw your post. Might be interesting, especially the black version as you can't get brake lines black otherwise. I used stainless on mine, used about half already done and modified/made the other other half.

how do you keep the powder coating from flaking off when you bend it or flare it?
if you want black brake lines, might i suggest getting some of this?

I used the silver powder coated line to make a new gas fuel line from a billet gas filter up to my Holly carb dual take off line

http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/63068/10002/-1.

The tube bender tool I had was not the greatest. Even if I had a good one I am sure I would have scratched the stuff. Silver is a little less noticeable than black. So what I did was wrap the tube bender with that green tape that painters use. The surface of the tape is pretty slippery so when the pipe bends over it it has a slick surface to ride on. I had to replace the tape many times so as not to scratch the coating. I think I wasted about 8 feet of the tubing before I got a piece that looked half decent...first time bending tube ...what do you expect!
