Default shifting problems

drove a car today: auto, formerly had 3 speed, now has 4 speed overdrive. when it shifts, there is a slight "jolt" feeling under there somewhere.

Default Re: shifting problems

Could be a Universal Joint, loose mount... etc but you really have to expand on your problem as to Make - Year - Model - Eng - Transmission(make, year, model) any any other modifications, such a suspension, to your ride, before anyone can give you subjective opinions - Good Luck.
