Does anyone have a pic of the socket that feeds the asy tray fiber. I think the one I have is for and auto to light the shifter display. Its only 7 inch fiber that can't reach the ash tray. Thanks!

I wanna mention I was removing ash tray an ther was black wire that was attached with copper stem an the end almost look like a ash tray light , did 69 camaro have such an option ,Is that what your talking about , when say fiber? Im courious THZX joe

Yes, there was a fiber optic light to the ashtray, that sourced it's light from the fuel gage/tach pod. I thought it was standard, but someone said it was not. My X11 with Z23 interior trim package had it, so maybe it was part of the package.

The fiber optic ashtray light was part of the whole fiber optic option. The elec. light bulb with wire was another option and of course, no light was standard.
