Default The Shop remodel is done..Happy Day!!

Well i started my shop remodel back in the spring of last year and worked pretty hard on it until early summer when it came to a screeching hault due to a bigger house project.
Last month i decided it was time to get back at it and get it done. I have been working like crazy on it over the past month and pretty much have it done. The new lift is in and functioning and im like a little kid at Christmas.
A few more details are yet to be done like hanging stuff on the wall and a little tidying up but for the most part its done.
A few pics to show off the fruits of my labor.

Nice shop Craig. Are the bay doors 8' wide? Is the roof pitch 8/12?

Nice!!!
Is the left bay meant as a spray booth? Just wondering why it's divided.

Thanks guys!
Dayton-The bay doors are 9' wide. The roof pitch is 12/12. The building is 30' x 42' You can tell better from this pic. (And yes those are snow flurries here... )

Harley- all three bays were divided originally and all had 8' celings. (To allow for a full second floor) It wasnt long after i finished it that i regretted dividing all 3 bays and not leaving a portion of the ceiling 13' so it could accomodate a lift. So that was what i did in the remodel. Opened up two bays so the shop area is 30x30 with a part of it having 13' ceiling. I left the other bay petitioned off because i still wanted one seperate bay for just parking a car.

Super great Design and build Craig.. it blends right into your property and yard. If any home owners assoc. ever complained about a setup like that, they would need their heads examined.
My new attached garage for the daily drivers at our new place is going to have a 14' x 26' loft area for the Mrs. and her crafts and artwork that she does. She gets her space and I get my 24x26 detached heated shop for my camaro. Not enough folks use that attic area and its so cheap to have the trusses designed to make it all work.
Excellent job !!!

Darn nice setup, Craig .........
I especially like the remodel layout. Too bad we don't think of all these features the first time around.....

Jim-that homeowners assoc was the wife. She told me that i could build what i wanted but "strongly stressed" it would look better if it matched the house. I was fine with that. Orginally the second floor was going to be all finished off for a "play area" but the funds ran out. There is a second floor in it but only used for storage now..which has been great too. And as you mention there is still a ton of room in the trusses for an attick if i ever need more storage.
And youre right Mitch..it sure would have been easier if i would have thought of it the first time around. Cant believe i didnt. But my father has always told me you have to build something about 3 times before you get it right.
