Default Other Vehicles That Deserve "Pro Street" Styling

What other vehicle(s) would you like to see in "Pro Street" form?
My choices would be........

Chevy HHR (blown and injected)
current body style Monte Carlo
Scion Xb (van)
PT Cruiser

That 61 Skylark would look very nice with some 33"x21.50"s and a blower .
BTW, is that your 2nd Gen. in the photo album as well?

Hummm look what I found (thanks for the plug John). Those cars happen to be mine (the 61 Skylark and the 70 Camaro). I sold the Camaro and I am still working on the Skylark. The Skylark does have an 8-71 on it. The car is much too small to put really big tires on the back. It has 325/50/15's on it which is plenty of tire. This car has to handle and perform. I like the pro-street look but, if the car can't back up the looks with decent ET's then it is embarrassing. I have been to the track and seen guys come off the trailer with their Pro-Street cars and crack off 14 second ET's. That looks kind of silly with huge tires, full cage, wheelie bars, and a parachute. This type of thing is what turned people off on the Pro Street thing.

Royce, it was one of the coolest vehicles that I could think of at the time!
Looking forward to seeing the progress soon

(ps: been talking through a little evening/afternoon get-together up at Donner one night during HAN week - if you're planning on any certain days let me know [kids and misses would be included if they are planning on coming along also ])

John,
I don't have any plans for HAN this year but, if I'm not working I will drive up for a day. I will let you know as time gets closer and we would enjoy hanging out with you guys at the lake. I'll mention it to Nelly.

Tri-5 Chevys are always a cool choice for ProStreet treatment. Here's a 57 I built about 20 years ago. I sold 10 years ago it to build my Camaro.
