Default Another questionable Z/28

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/69-CA...ewItem#history

VIN: 124379N564404
TT: 09B X33D80

Another retagged car? My guess it is not a real Z/28. .

"Through public demand Ebay has adopted a new policy to protect Ebay members from fraudulent 2nd chance offers....."

eBay does nothing to protect members from fraudulent sellers. LOL

Not only is the tag date about 9 months too late for the car, its a repo.

Unless a Z-28 has the 302 motor with a matching VIN, then theres a good chance it is not authentic. My car is an early 69 327 210. It has no X-code It has original paint that is hugger with a the black hockey stripe. I could put disks, multi leaf and 12 bolt in it and SS emblems and no one would ever guess its not an SS EXCEPT for the fact that I could not have the 327 210 in the car. You are almost better off buying a clone on EBAY and taking the discount.

That car should be a 12B or 12C going by the VIN. Makes me wonder if the hidden VIN matches.

I sent the general manager of the dealership an email pointing out the obvious. It will be interesting to see if I get a reply or if they revise their listing. And BTW, I was very polite.

This must be a rare special order Z28, I bet it's worth a million. "The heart of this Z28 is the 350 Cu In V8 under the hood."
