I have a 2000 Camaro 3.8l v6 and im thinking about changing the engine to a v8 im almost positive theres enough room for one but im not 100% sure about all of this mainly because I've never swapped an engine before and im not really sure what is everthing i have to change and will it work?

the 346 ci LS1 was standard in the SS model for that year, yes it will fit. I owned a Z28 convertible, i think it was a 97. Lemme tell ya, there aint a buncha room in there after you stick a v8 in, but it fits. Ill bet you can pick up a engine and tranny w harness and computer out of a salvage yard reasonably.
Im fairly certain that you will need the trans also, thats why i mentioned it. I cant give u a list of everything to change so i wont even try to. Just plan on doing alot of swapping.

In the long run, you'd be better off to sell yours and buy an SS. It will be worth more in the end as well.
