How can I tell which power steering box I have? Brand and Ratio? Which ratios are better?
I'm putting the car back together and wanting to see if I need to rebuild or upgrade.

I did look there. Maybe I'm not smart enough to figure it out, but I don't see anything about identifying a 69 steering box or which ratio is better.

there's a many page thread there about retrofitting a box from a thirdgen IROC Z.

You will be amazed how good your stock box operates with a rebuild and new rag joint.

JimM - That's one reason I want to find out what I have; Because of all the talk about the IROC 3rd gen. box and the AGR box, I wanted to figure out what I actually have so I can make an informed decision on whether to upgrade, rebuild or reinstall my old box.

Windycity- Rebuilding is definately an option. What kit did you use?

I had my box completely rebuilt at a placed called Midwest Remanufacturing, LLC in Bedford Park, IL. The cost was $150. They can rebuild your box or exchange for the same box as your core.
