Default 69 Z/28 PVC restoration

Hi, I am in the process of replacing the aftermarket holley on my 69 Z/28 with an original holley. The car has not had the PVC system since I have owned it. I have the parts to restore the PVC system. If anyone has pics or could explain to me where everything goes it would be a great help. I am talking about from the carb side and the air cleaner side. Thanks Bob

It's pretty simple. The PVC valve goes into the driver's side valve cover. The hose goes in between the aforementioned PVC valve and a vac tap on the passenger side of the carb somewhat rearward on the carb by the secondaries. The vac tap is like .250"

Cool Re: 69 Z/28 PVC restoration

PVC = Polyvinyl Chloride (white plastic tubing)
PCV = Positive Crankcase Ventilation

..on my '68-327 w/ original air cleaner, the
PCV plugged into the passenger side valve cover,
..3/8 black tubing goes from PCV to bottom of air cleaner.

Sheesh, I did the same thing the last time we were talking about PCV's. I also referred to carb bowels instead of bowls when we were talking about flooding. I need to slow down my typing................

Wow Great Pics, I actually had found some but these are way better! Exactly what I needed. Thanks. PCV is one of those anacronyms that I contantly foul up. I work in the plastics indusrty, seems like its getting worse as I get older. Thanks to all who replied!

That's the vacuum signal hose that goes to the A.I.R. pump diverter valve.

Behind my holley carb I have a two way vacum valve that is in the maifold -one hose goes to the brake booster and the other smaller hose is for the r.s. canister for the doors at the headlights.

My problem is that with my new 383 motor, the new holley 650 leaves very little room to place this vacuum valve. Anyone have info on this?
I will try to get pics up. thanks
