Default Camaro Parts Company

I am in need of almost 1300 in auto sheet metal parts, i use to use fire wheel classics as they were a bit in my price range, but they have sinced jacked their prices up and i can find some places cheaper that sell the same stuff, im trying not to get raked on shipping and frieght as im on a limited budget and the sky is the limit when we are talking auto body work for a 67 coupe.

Im in the military and i just got back from Iraq and cant get ripped off at this junction, so sorry year one, classic camaro, and firewheel classics, they use to be good, until they went showroom, thus their prices went through the roof on shipping, frieght, taxes etc, anyways im now looking at Tamrazs.com as a supplier of repo parts, if some1 else has some more affordable honest quality dealers can you please point me in the right direction.

Parts needed;

Both quarter panels
Both Fenders
Trunk lid
Spoiler
header panel
emblems

i want to stay around the 1300 price range for these parts with shipping included, right now Tamrazs is within the price range but i know nothing about them, to be honest when i call even this sites affiliates they all say their junk matches up and fits better than the next guys yet its all the same repo junk coming from american steel, please help me, i have served twice in Iraq and have saved enough for about a 6000 job on a coupe that is just basic and not matching numbers or anything, so i have to be a bit economical, please let me know what is a good resonable company to go with for after market parts, there are tons of them out their for the 1st generation cars..

You might try here. They are in Dayton Ohio and you might be able to pick up and save freight. I bought my frame rails from them the service was good. Prices seem ok.

I have been to Resto World and they are OK. Not much in stock so they do alot of ordering. It takes to long for me. I use NPD for 99% of my stuff. Good prices, fast shipping.

First of all, THANK YOU for your service in the military which fights for our freedoms! God Bless you.

I just bought a bunch of sheet metal for my 69 Camaro Coupe and was shopping around for over two weeks researching prices. The best by far, that I found was Mattsclassicbowties through ebay or even just by calling them directly. Their phone number is 866-628-8746

Their service and shipping speed was outstanding. One of the rear quarters did get damaged along the way, but it was the shippers fault and they are working on the claim now.

I got full rear quarters for $290 each, an inner rear tail panel for $60, an outer rear tail panel for $75 and a subframe hardware kit for $18. The total freight shipping cost to my friend's restaurant was only $105.

At least give them a call before you choose another person to shop with. They only sell Goodmark metal too.

Hope this helps.

Take care,
Todd

Out of everyone posted here, Bob gets my vote. Good prices and great customer service. Quick to answer questions and he's always been there to answer the phone when I've called.

It isn't the parts companies fault for the shipping cost jump. Thank the oil companies for that. Plus, the metal prices have made shot way up due to many factors. We bought some ring-shank fencing nails recently and they are 1 1/2 times higher than they were 2 years ago.

Shipping has gone up but thats no reason for one place to be 150.00 shipping and the next to be 90.00 for the same part. Matt's on ebay is good and also try CPU Muscle car parts on ebay I've gotten a bunch from them and there shipping is reasonable and parts are the same quality as others and good service and shipping.
