Default O2S Sensor removal issue

I removed my driver side O2S sensor from my 94 V6 camaro but ended up stripping out the hole. How can I repair this? Should I retap it? I'm not sure what type/size of thread is on the O2S sensor. Is it metric or standard?

Any suggestions on how to repair?

most likely 18mm metric threads, I'd run a tap through it first and see if It'll take clean them up enough to hold in the sensor, otherwise you can buy a weld in bung at most muffler shops should you need too, Jeff

it's 18mm X 1.5; tap it first, and use never-seize on the threads of the O2 before putting it in there, to make sure it comes back out.
