I allways thought they are the same.
People just call them 10.5.
Kinda like torque converters.
An 11" is really 11.75,,12 is 12.75,or there abouts,, when you actually measure them?

They are the same, BUT the one's that will throw you are the 11" and the 12".

12" is a P/U type clutch.

Throw you meaning, it grips better?
My friend had a BBC 509 w/a Doug nash 5 speed & ran a 153 tooth flywheel (for quicker reving) w/an 10.5 inch clutch & worked great & reved really quick.
