Smile GM Door sticker and tire pressure decal...help

On my 69 Z, I have inherited the GM blue door sticker and the DX tire pressure decal, all on the drivers door jamb. After some lookin' here, seems this is incorrect.

1. GM sticker should come off?
2. Tire sticker should come off?
3. Tire sticker goes where?

Thanks all.....

No GM sticker until September build I believe. Could be later. Put the DX decal on the driver door edge .

Whoa.

No 68 or 69 Camaro had the square GM door decal used in 1967.

All 69s had the tp label on the drivers door. Z/28s and COPO 9737 cars used the decal coded DX.

Cars built for the '70 model year were required to have a VIN certification label stating month and year of production. 1969 Camaros built begining 08A had the label. The door shell stamping was changed to include two stamped beads; the label is placed between them.

I wonder if the model year was dictated by the DOT? If so then maybe that is how '69 body style cars were licensed as '70 cars. Thus '70 1/2 cars for the 2nd gen body.

No 1969 Camaro was ever titled as a 1970 model.

There is no '70-1/2' Camaro; it was a 1970 model delayed due to tooling issues.
