Default getting to know u tools

Hey team I sure have gotten to know my air grinder with the 4 inch disk.I have been slicing and dicing the toe boards and got them in,now I am about to start to fit the drivers side tulip panel. Can anyone out there tell the size of self taping screw to use to hold the panel up to assit me in the fit. I have plans to remove the screw and weld the hole back up.

Just curious, why not just use the clamping technique you used on the toe boards? We are referring to the outer cowl panel correct?

That's what I am talking about, this is a first and I figured being in the position that they are mounted the screws would hold it tight. But I still am looking at it and I will probably wind up using the clamp technique.

I think they are # 6 self tapping screws from any hardware store. Doesn't really matter what size as long as they are relatively small. The welder won't know the difference or care.
