I am going to install the front leaf spring eye bushings on my car and was wondering if the flange goes toward the outside or inside of the car? Also, should you bottom the flange out or just center the bushings in the spring? The ones I removed were not bottomed out on the spring. Any help on this will be appreciated.
Thanks TC Mike |

Same thing I just posted on your thread on the CRG board:
I've found them to be installed left to right (both sides), the flange on the LH side. I think there is a pic in the AIM showing the same, but not sure if you can really count on that. I don't think it really matters though, just center them in the leaf and you'll be fine.

Both were toward the driverside on my '69 when I replaced mine.

Driver side for both springs and flange against the spring eye.
