David,

Yes I saw them. All he needs is some fat tires in the back. I have been talking to him about his fan setup.

Well what would go in this section? Performance is covered in the performance section. The only thing I could see being "Pro Street" specific is if someone was doing a back half job. I stop by here to look but, I was informed my Buick isn't "Pro Street".

How many Pro Street cars are there on this site. I can only think of a few.

Do any of you guys make it out to the track? Maybe that could be a new topic for this section.

...............Royce, from the pics I've seen of it, I would disagree with that statement.Even though I'm not the responsible party that made that statement, please accept my sincere apology. You contributions are welcomed and appreciated. I hope you aren't offended and will continue to check out the Pro Street Forum often.

Not offended at all, it takes a lot to ruffle my feathers. That comment didn't stop me from stopping by the pro street forum. I have always liked pro street cars. To be honest I'm don't even remember who even made that comment.

I can understand why it was said. While my car is tubbed, it doesn't have 14" wide rims but, with the size of my car it would look silly with 14-15" of rubber under it. My tires are 325's which is 12.8" section width.

That could be a whole other topic. What exactly is a pro street car? To me fat tires in the rear/tubbed, skinnies up front, roll bar/cage, street driven. Some take it even deeper with parachute, and wheelie bars.

Hey Royce. My little street deal is not pro street at all...but I gain some very valuable info from these folks that do own true pro streets, big meats/big hp/front runners etc.
I just love the attention to detail and that bad a$$ steamroller look that is mandatory imho for a pro street.
I am not there yet..but Rome was not built in a day either.I just got home from the woodward dream cruise..based on how many folks stepped off the curb to take pics,I must be doing something right.
Now that tune up is close,I am going to a taller/wider tire in the rear. The current 461 BBC has a tad bit more torque than the n/a 427.
