Default SSBC Rear disc converstion

Hi Guys Newbie here. Looking through post, tons of great info and pictures. Has anyone done the disc brake conversion on the rear. I have a 72 Rs, got the FX1 A125-30 Kit and some things are funky.
One is the mounting bracket if put on the way they say the caliper hits the leaf spring. So I moved it so instead of the bracket pointing forward as per the instruction it points straight up which put the caliper at 9 O'Clock instead of about 7 O'Clock forward.
So my question is anybody experience this and what about the parking brake? on drivers side the calipers forward of the axel so how do make a cable work?
Pictures would be helpful, Ill post some on my next post.
Thanks in advance

You should post in the suspension board at www.nastyz28.com which is a website for 2nd gens like yours. A few guys are going through the same swap using the SSBC kit. Perhaps they can help you out.
