Default Courtesy / Sail Lights 67RS

Need some help understanding the correct operation and options on a 67RS with a deluxe interior indicated on the trim tag.

- Were courtesy lights part of the deluxe interior in 67 - where were they located, and were they triggered off the door jam switch?

- What activated the left/right sail panel lights in the back? Was this through the headlight switch, or the door courtesy switch?

Thanks!

Hi, The courtesy lights are optional. If you don't have them, get them- they make a huge difference and plug right into the harness behing the drivers kick panel. The rear sail panels lights are triggered by the door pin switches and also when the headlight switch is turned to the detent.

Thanks for the quick reply! Where do the courtesy lights mounts under the dash? Are they tied to the headlight switch also? Thanks!

Sorry, Im not sure about the exact mounting location. Somebody else can comment on that. I just threw mine up there where they could go. The courtesys also turn on with turning the headlight switch to detent. They are a HUGE help if you are trying to find anything on your floor in the dark! Ricks has the harness for about $26.
