I bought a new aftermatket grill for the 69 camaro years ago. The front chrome grill trim on top and bottom was attached croaked and allinged up rite. Anyone ever remove and install correctly. I don't want to scratch anything

I pulled them off when I painted my grill...

Been there done that. pulled them off as well when we painted and then reinstalled

what did u use to install and remove ?

I cant remember but I think a small screw driver to get it started and then just your fingers.I would wait for more input though seein how i'm haven a brain fart.
