Well it sounds like a stuck thermostat, even new T-stats are problems when new. Take the T-stat back out and put in a pot of water start to boil the water with a meet thermostat in to check when the T-stat opens. A good flush also is a plus.

......If I have followed some of your other posts correctly relating to this problem then the car is a late model Camaro...correct?...if so.....the problem with the fan could be a fuse or a relay gone bad.

X2........... If it is a late model Camaro and your fan is not spinning, then check the above.... But if its an early model Camaro then check the thermal clutch fan..... Give us an update.

Did you bleed the cooling system after replacing the thermostat? This is MANDATORY on 4th gen Camaros.

Im not sure where the sensor is to bring the fan on but is it possible its in an area where the coolant is still cold? It wont come on till it gets up to temperature.

Wow. Sad. Can I suggest joining a car club or something. True, the learning curve is long but you have to start somewhere, IF you wanna be a car guy.

Sounds like you made a wise choice. Many "car guys" will do more damage than good working on something they know nothing about. Asking questions on a forum is fine, but you will get too many answers with different guesses about your problem, and many could be right, but without hands on diagnosis that's all they are is guesses. And don't let someone try to belittle you because you chose to go to a professional shop, it is fine to admit you don't know and aren't capable of the repair. And yes, you CAN still be a "car guy" and not know everything about cars.
