My 69 with 350 was converted to HEI.
Basically stock motor, do I need different
spark plugs than OEM because of the HEI.
Any Reccomendations.
Thanks

You don't need new ones unless you need new ones anyway. I always use Champions but have heard that AC Rapidfires are the best. Dont get sucked into getting the multi electrodes. You will only get one spark anyway so save your money.

Yeah, those multi-electrode whatever plugs are plain stupid, I think. Like you said, Bowtie, which ever electrode has the least resistance at the time of the spark, that's where the spark's going. Anyway, Charlie, the plug number that's designed for your engine/head is the one to use. Can't recommend a brand, they're all pretty much the same IMO. Do change the gap to around .045" to take take advantage of the HEI's hotter spark. Also, check you plugs occsionally to make sure the heat range is correct.
