any body have any thing in a book on the big block and small block engine lift brackets or lift hooks ,PLEASE EMAIL ME WITH ANYTHING YOU HAVE OR WHERE I CAN FIND IT thanks for any help rgtz67@hotmail.com

What year? My 69 didn't come with them. When I first saw them was in the early 70's. Thought to myself: 'self! That's cool!'.

One owner 69 Camaro,(yep, bought it new )RS SS Hugger Orange, L88, 4:10's spool, ducted hood, Endura, spoilers. TH400 (CX) GV OD, 8 track still on console and best et 10.862, 124.24mph 1.478 60' All with 1960's stuff. (except tires and converter) + MT Super Scavenger headers. 1000cfm AED and HD Harold-Lunati SR, 725 lift with shaft rockers too. ![]() http://epitomesrebuild.com/ |

And the price on the b/b ones is good. I think I paid $40 for mine 6-7 years ago!

Just out of curiosity, why is it that they didn't all ship with brackets? Did GM reuse them to save money? JohnZ, got your ears on?

John has an excellent post on the CRG website in answer to my question for 67...Prior to the brackets they had a number of fixtures each individual to that engine configuration that hooked under the exh manifolds to move the engines. Yep another cost savings (complete with pictures) where they could hook any motor by the brackets and move it. Wondered why I had never seen any on 67..not sure about '69 and Fred's car etc..
