I was wondering if anybody has used or has an opinion on the different pneumatic spot weld drills. I never see them mentioned much related to spot weld removal discussions and didn't know if they were worth the additional investment. Not many reviews on the Internet. Thanks!

I have the dent fix and its great as tony would say.I bought mine off ebay and saved a couple bucks.I also have a stud welder you posted it also comes in handy as oposed to the old drill and screw method. The biggest question is will it be worth you while to purchase them. How much will they be used if you plan on doing bodywork down the road go for it.The stud welder I have is not this particular brand.

I have the Astro version. I replaced the firewall in my '72 by using a regular drill bit. Then I bought the Astro spot weld drill. So far I have removed both quarters, trunk dropoffs, tailpanel and crossrail. It saves so much time, and makes a clean removal. I am going to reuse the crosspanel as they do not repro them for the 70-73's and by using the spot drill, it will be a piece of cake to reinstall.
