Default 2nd gen full cage and ladder bars

Thought I would contribute to the prostreet forum.

Here are some pics of a custom 8 point cage we did awhile back.
We also added Ladder bars and coil overs.

Hard to tell from the pictures but, the welds on the cage itself appear to be TIG welds. Is this a moly cage? Race car or pro streeter?

Nice work by the way.

Thanks guys ,

The cage is mild steel and tig welded. The car is street legal but he bracket races it on a regular basis.

Car run 10.30s on motor.

I think I would have a hard time getting on the plane with my tig welder and tubing bender.

OK, here are a couple more pics.
Just a basic ladder bat set up. Simple but it works great.
The customer was adamant about not moving his exhaust so I had to drop the cross member under it.

We also fixed the package tray/seat divider and the trunk floor that was torched out buy the last guy.

I also ended up taking most of the drop out of the crossmember because it hung to low. Again that's the way he wanted it and the customer is always right, right.

It worked out though now we have plenty of ground clearance and the car is deadly consistent.

Man why couldn't you be my neighbor.

Any ways i got a 9" 3rd member with 3.00 and 28 spline axels.... I ll just give them away, they use to be in my 32 Ford 3-window coupe and i replace it with the Strange Billet 3rd member with 3.55 and 31 spline.
