Looking for torque specs for putting my Muncie tranny back on to 383. Got the flywheel and clutch settings (60/35 lbs) and read somewhere to use 25 lbs on the bellhousing to block (does that sound right?). Does anyone got the numbers for:
Tranny to bellhousing (4 bolts)? Tranny to crossmember (2 bolts)? Crossmember to frame (4 bolts)? Also any suggestions as to where to use locktite and what strength (red/blue)? Thanks, I guess I need to get a good book with all this in it but not sure what would be best since its not a stock drivetrain. So far I've been able to get my tranny, clutch, etc out by reading Team Camaro posts and talking to friends. Hoping I'll be able to get it back in the same way. MM |
