Smile Looks like I'll be one of you guys now.

Picked this up a month ago for $3500. Was left like this at a shop for 5 years. Has a new 10 point Alston cage, not installed yet, & fuel cell with it also. Wilwood discs up front with a nice subframe. Don't have good pics of it yet. So, yeah, looking for floors. LOL Sheetmetal needs to be trimmed up & they're welding between the rear frame rails & sub-frame double checked for squareness & beefed up some. And YES, that freaking steering wheel is the first thing to leave. Oh, and it is a RS.

You did good on that buy, Stevo! It looks like a lot of the hard/costly work has been done. I like the ramp truck, too!

Guess I should have scrolled down before I wrote the last post.Nice to have another PSer here I am not the most liked on the boards but if I can help in any way I'll be here as well as the rest of the PSer's.What are your plans 'show and go' or just 'GO' my buddy that helped me with my car said when we build his '55' he isn't going to have half the wires and weight of my car.I guess he is right if you look at my junk you will see.Anyway great to see another big tire guy on the boards.

Stevo,
That was a good buy. Most of the hard work is done. While it is stripped down you might think about having the frame blasted. That will be a fun car!

If you live close to Orando, here is one on craigs list about the same price.

http://orlando.craigslist.org/cto/1016580516.html

79 camaro that has been backed halfed with 4 link and coil overs. The rear is a Fab 9 4.11 gears and posi with 31 spline big bearing Moser molly axles. The front susp. is all new with manual steering box. The wheels are welds front and rear. Fiberglass dash needs to be installed.

It has an extra set of doors.

It is missing the front clip and front and rear glass.

Thanks. Were allready starting on it. This will happen while I still work on the other 67 because I've enlisted help on this one. I can't build them all alone, just not enough time. This car won't be show, so it should be easier on the wallet. It's gonna be BIG cubes & primer. LOL
