69 is a lot easier than 67/68, there is a full radius, 69 cut in the center of 1/4 thru
crease, cut across top, cut down front and rear of wheel well opening, move front and rear peices to clear tires, cut the space out reweld those peices in make a 2-3-4 inch
peice to filll the wkeel well spread.

Do you think I need to stretch with a 29 tall tire?

hang on a few minutes, I told you I would post some pics 2 days ago and had to leave. Let me move my Chevelle out from under the rack and will post some pics for you. Do you want with or without tires? Mine is on the rack so the rear end is hanging down, but I have no problem at all with removing 29X18.5's on 15X14 wheels with a floor jack under the diff. Heres a couple for now from before it was taken apart... The body has been dropped down over the frame now, so it will be a lot lower> approx 1 1/2" in rear and 5" in front...

Look at this post. PROZ11 has the same tire you are talking about on a 69. PM him for some more pictures.

Tony - When we backhalved my 69, the stock quarters took 29's nicely. Later went to 31's and had to stretch the front and rear fender lips to match the inner lips. Not that big of a job, and the 31's look better on my car than the 29's.
On page 2 of Pro Street, under "Video of our 69 BB", there is some footage that may help. Good luck.....................DC
