My 20 yr old Sun Timing Light stopped working (flashing). I assumed it was the bulb. After taking it apart and seeing the flash tube element; its not something I wanted to mess with.
Found Gary in S. Florida who used to work for Sun Consumer Products. He now repairs them. Turned out to be something loose on the circuit board. I am not affiliated, but for $35 total, $25 repair and $10 return shipping I am back in business. Definitely worth talking to before spending the $$ on a new light http://timinglightfix.com/contact.html Tom

Tom,
When mine quit working about 2 years ago, I did a search on E-bay and found a brand new one in the box for $20

That's
![]() I have an 'age-old' Chrome Sun light that I truely love ![]() I've dropped that poor thing more than once and it has even been for the dreaded "fan ride" a time or two in it's life ![]() Still works fantastic but, it good to know I can still get it repaired Maybe I should send it in anyway for a 'spa-weekend' to get checked out and calibrated if needed...
