Default 2 post lift door dinger.

Alright guys I just got my new 2 post lift in and looking for ideas to protect the car doors when getting out of the car if you drive on to it.

Any ideas or suggestions for padding on the post?

i've got a vinyl pad that wraps around the base of my basketball goal, has velcro to secure it around the pole, maybe something like that? easily removable too.

Double stick tape to attach your choice of foam strip.
I just covered the one edge on mine, it's the only place that would really get any contact from the door.

I use 3/4" pipe insulation on any surfaces that may contact paint, i have it zip tied to my floor jack handles, ect. it works great.
