Default barn add on

Looking at all the recent post about new shops and garages made finally get off my butt and start working on mine.Thanks for the motivation guys.
My old barn started life as a 2 story 20' x 24'. Now it will be 38' x44'.
with a loft.Hopefully it will be 100% in about a month.

Wellll-maybe a month is a bit ambitious,Theres only 3 of us workin on this..But seeing the project this far along-well i guess it makes me really want it done.

Hey Will-Ya here in Cali the weather usally holds out just fine.Im just waiting for the siding to be delivered and the garage door man to show up,then on to electrical and paint the floor and then get the cars moved in and then start makin a mess!I cant wait.

Dam, that must be nice to have good weather, when I built my 36x60 we had it framed up in one weekend then I had to wait five weeks to put the tin on either it was pouring rain or we had 40 mph winds. Hope all goes well & be careful.

Makin good progress now.Still waiting on the garage doors and electrical...Replacing the rest of the old siding to match new.I guess my 1 month to finish time frame has gone out the window,but i will keep on pluggin away...

Dave, when you're done, would you come up here and do mine? The biggest mistake we made with our barn was building it too short. It needs to be twice as high. What do you think? Feel free to bring the fork lift and high-lift.
Here's a look (I hope). See the horse trailer in the distance? Can't even put it in the barn, much less RV's.

Dave how are you channeling around windows and doors? Im going to be adding windows for ventilation and light to my pole barn but its after the barn is up. Wondering what tin or aluminum or vinyl you use around windows and how you install J channel or whatever works around windows in particular? Great looking shop
