Hello,
Just need to verify something...the rocker ball should go back on the same rocker it came off of when re-installing correct? Also, is it ok to install new rocker balls on used rockers? Thanks, Gary

I've put used rocker balls on different used arms, and they have lived, but you should make an effort to keep things together when it's possible.

If you have to change any rocker balls I read it's best to put the new ones on the intake rockers and move a matched and broken in pair to the exhaust. The theory was that exhaust rockers live a harder life and a broken in pair was safer. I've changed them all to grooved balls on used rockers on several motors with no problems, but not with large cams with big springs.

Thanks for the fast replies. I have heard different opinions on this thru the years.
