carhodge, I expect you'll need a 2 groove wp as well as an additional crank pulley slot. I don't know where you'll mount the compressor - I'm in process of adding va a/c on my 67 short wp with alt on driver side. So, my comp goes on pass side above exhaust manifold - when I get the right mounting bracket - they sent one for headers.

FYI, my '69 was originally an a/c and power steering car. It has a three groove crank pulley and two grove water pump pulley. The a/c is long gone but I believe the belt ran around the crank and water pump like the alternator does.
