i am a certified auto glass tech, if you are going to pull the regulator or glass you must mark the position of all bolts that hold the regulator. they should be frameless wich makes them very difficult to seal right aginst the weather strip. Their is about 6 places to adjust the window (wich is why is its crucial to mark every thing)

remember no metal can contact the glass or it will break 1st slam.

good luck.

Will, just the man I need to talk to. Have a 70 Camaro. Put on new weather stripping on doors and upper around glass. Now have a 1/8 inch gap at front top of glass. Is it possible to adjust the glass to bring this corner up? I can open the door, roll up the window, push in as I shut the door and get it about there, but not by rolling it up with door closed. Any hope for this? tom

it can be adjusted internaly, but i wouldnt recomend trying it your self , find a good mom and pop glass shop thats been around at least 10 yrs and employes are certified with the NGA(never ever use safe lite)and make an a appointment for them to try, AT the most your looking at 2hrs labor up to about 100$ at max.

I am telling you its money well spent they are about the hardest door to adjust, and when you get wind noise or leaks(wich you will) you can take it back instead of redoing it 5 times your self.

the price of a 87 trunk heated tinted back glass is @1000$ instaled dont use them as a truck is cheaper to rent one.
